The service

Gmail Cleaner (working title) is an independent Android utility for reviewing Gmail messages, grouping and identifying routine clutter, protecting important records, choosing specific items for cleanup, and requesting verified Trash and Restore operations. It does not offer a separate developer-operated mailbox or account service. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.

Account access and acceptable use

You must control the Google account you connect, have permission to access its messages, and use the app lawfully. Gmail access is granted through Google's authorization flow and can be revoked through your Google Account. You are responsible for securing your device and reviewing app permissions and proposed actions.

Every cleanup requires your decision

Scan results and recommendations assist your review; they do not guarantee a message is unimportant. The app does not automatically Trash messages without your confirmation. You can change selections and keep messages or senders. Protected messages are excluded from normal bulk actions; any permitted individual override requires extra deliberate review and final confirmation.

Before you confirm a Trash operation, check the active account, messages and eligibility counts. Results may change between scanning and the final Gmail checks. Activity and Gmail state should be reviewed before repeating a failed or uncertain operation.

Trash, Restore and limits

Moving a message to Gmail Trash is not the same as permanently deleting it. Google controls Trash retention and may delete messages after its retention period. Restore can operate only on eligible app-managed, verified Trash records while those messages remain recoverable in Gmail. The app cannot guarantee restoration of a removed, externally modified or permanently deleted message, or identical labels after Restore.

Third-party services

Google provides account authorization and Gmail operations under its own terms and policies. Guided unsubscribe may open sender-provided web pages or an email draft in another app. You choose whether to proceed; the app cannot guarantee that a mailing list honors an unsubscribe request or that a third-party page is safe. Review the destination and avoid sharing passwords with unfamiliar sites.

Availability, updates and responsibility

Features may be unavailable because of connectivity, account authorization, Google API changes or platform restrictions. Use a dedicated test account and disposable messages during controlled testing. No absolute guarantee of continuous access, accurate classification, or recovery is made. Nothing in these terms removes rights or protections that applicable law does not permit to be waived.

Privacy, local data and ending use

Read the Privacy policy for the actual Google-data flows, storage and deletion instructions. You may revoke Google access and clear app-local data separately. Resolve any uncertain Gmail operations before deleting local recovery history. No paid subscription, automatic renewal or developer-operated account is offered by this release candidate.
